Old Hunting Men

Just wondering whats the oldest men on here or that ye know thats still putting in the shifts .I know a good few men over 60 thats still in the game and some over 70

83 year old out with us every week, justs wanders about for what we send his way.

I know of 1 man that is kicking the arse out of and still out with the lurchers every sunday with a pack of hounds,you probably know him as he hunted hares when younger with JK,PK, and many more,pk is his initials from county Meath,i myself done a lot of fox hunting with him for several years until he gave up the diging,also a very keen fisher man.

mate who shoots with us (57) travels 45 miles up to us every Saturday being doing it this years,, he took a minor stroke on a Wednesday night baring on mind he lay on the floor 2 the next morning till he was found spent 2 days in hospital got out Friday and still come up that saturday with his daughter who had to drive him up since he couldn't drive until further tests were done bla bla bla

 

now thats mental but you've got to give it to him... hes in firing health again to after all that

59 and out with the dogs every day and running them twice a week most weeks in the season but feck do i feel it the next day lol.

I know one old lad who is 70 still goes ferreting at least twice a week. Been at the game since he was a young lad.
