zini 1,939
Hi lads, In this episode of VHTV you will see me testing 2 of my new spring piston rifles that I am trying to bed in ready for doing some calibration work, hunting and HFT comp shooting. The test is just to see how they group and perform prior to being fully run in. Thanks for watching Si & Davy Edited February 19, 2013 by zini 5 Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
Two very good springer's you have Si. What are they like at longer range ? Quote Link to post
A1WOC 212
You’re so modest Si; quote “quality, quality rifle” summarising in the film clip, with no mention to the skill of the man behind the gun. Regards, Steve 1 Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Two very good springer's you have Si. What are they like at longer range ? I haven't tried the AA Pro Sport at range yet VM as I only fitted the scope today when the postman brought me the mounts. I was lucky to try the RWS SF pellets first in it too this morning, but it seems to love them already. The Spectre I have tested at 50 meters in my indoor permission range, and it placed 3 Accupells almost on top of each other. Im sure when its properly run in and i shoot it well it will group under a 5p at 50 meters like my 97KT can. Si. Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
Absolutely brilliant, I've owned the HW95K SFS tuned .22 and it was brilliantly accurate but had to sell to fund a prosport. What awesome shooting with both rifles pal! Just goes to show the accuracy of the prosport though as well not even bedded in and straight from the box! Gonna have to buy some superfield now and give them a try. Cheers Phil 2 Quote Link to post

Regards, Steve But I see it Steve as i wouldn't be able to do that if Tony would not have done such a great job on the Spectre mate. All my praise goes to him. At the end of the day the rifle is still running in and as Tony as just texted me and said, it will get even better than that as it smooths out even more . Thanks for the comment though mate. Si. Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
my options are 1.) get the same stock Si has there for my hw95k but left handed version.. or 2.) sell it and buy a prosport and learn to shoot right handed LOL or send AA a beggging email asking them to make 2 lefthanded walnut prosports 1 for me and 1 for pianoman hahaha. excellent shooting tho Si as usual. spoilt for choice now with all these bloody guns lmao. its hard enough for me to choose between my 95k or 97kt..... never bloody mind having 5 or 6 rifles to choose from bet your in for some right headaches lol Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Lads a full review of mine and Davy's Spectre's will be filmed at a later date . Today was just a taster for whats to come and to answer Mauders and a few peoples group shooting questions that I received. The next time you see the Spectre it will be in the proper review filmed with Davy . Si. Edited February 19, 2013 by zini Quote Link to post

A well shot Ultra with the right pellet, filled to the right bar charge will keep up with a HW100 for accuracy mate I'm sure of it. Si. Quote Link to post

Si. to be fair mate i dont NEED and cant afford a pcp. on my 1 perm i have atm theres nothing left 'coz ive already killed it all lol. but i like my target shooitng with my springers to try improve my ability all the time it just feels a lot more .. better?... and rewarding shooting a springer accurately. if i got a new permission with a large vermin PROBLEM i would probly get a multishot ultra ;D did you see my post hw97kt acccuracy and consistency.. the rifle is bang on for my standards im more than happy with it so i dont think it needs tuning.. yet 1 Quote Link to post
