Pulled Trigger :( :( :(

was out tonight with the .223 afyer 3hrs dtiving about finaly called one in, ot was 150yards away it was a simple shot as i had sand bag on roof of car completely steady BANG fox runs for the hills I PULLED THE BLOODY TRIGGER FOR FCUK SACH.

 

absolutley ragging as i was out shooting clays at 300yards earlier with medium ease.

 

so moral of the story always take your/my time.

It can be very frustrating when that happens, been their myself!

I would also look into flinching. I use to flinch a lot when i first started out with rifles, but cured it since.

Get someone to watch you firing the rifle at a range, as that is the only way you will know for sure, if you flinch or not before taking the shot.

Think we've all done it,I used to be the same,missed a couple of simple shots through rushing or pulled trigger to hard in the past,once I managed to control the breathing it was sorted,I went through a stage of holding my breath,its a good job they don't hang about long or I would of died lol,I find the steady point is just after exhaling just before taking the next and bang its sent

don't worry boys i know how to shot and all the different technics to do so.

 

i have shot foxes at 400 yards on good calm nights, i also have a few fox shaped metal plates i set out to 600 yards for abit of fun but the wind on the 5.5 bullet recks havoc but yet still good fun.
