Jamie93 57
I decided to have one last quick outing yesterday to a local bit of land. I returned to a warren I had done a couple of months ago knowing there was a couple at home. Nets down hob in. First rabbits slipped the nets but I saw where it went so I thought I'll get that in a bit. 2 further rabbits in the nets and into the small fence line the escapee went. Nets down ferrets in and out she came. As I was picking the nets up my other half told me that she saw the rabbits stomach moving. I checked and the rabbit was definitely dead but the stomach was moving. I quickly gutted her and found 5 massive babies moving in their sacks. I quickly pulled them out and rubbed their backs. They are now at home being fed babies milk and all 5 are doing really well. I will keep you updated with pics shortly. Jamie93 Quote Link to post

Tiercel 6,986
Once reared ill be releasing them back into the field they can from Let me get this right you are going to hand rear and imprint kits till they can eat for themselves, then release them back into the wild? Personal opinion, knock them on the head now. It will save them a lot of pain later. TC 1 Quote Link to post

Jamie93 57
Exactly tiercel it's just your opinion and that will be the nearest they come to getting knocked on the head! I'm giving them as little human contact as possible and the field they came from has very little form of predators so fingers crossed. Quote Link to post
