NEWKID 27,316
Thought Gazza was a great player, and hate to see the state he's in..... But is it right to hold money making appeals for him., players handing over tens of thousands, celebs chucking there money in the pot.... Is Gazza really a worthy charity case? Wouldn't that money be better spent on ill kids? cancer research?...... Lurcher rescue?..... It's alright putting him in the most expensive drying out clinic in the world, if he don't want to stop he wont...

NEWKID 27,316
He was a great player Tufty, but once all these thousands have been spent will it make any difference??? I really hope it does make the difference and he gets well.... But he's been like it for years, look at the Raul Moat incident... I hope it's not money wasted that's all, there's thousands of people out there who are desperate for the treatments, support etc that money would bring................ But They're not Gazza

whippet 99 2,613
alcoholism is a disease if it is a so called disease its hardly natural..........................self inflicted ............. hes had his chances ............................waste of space , send the money to a worthy cause like some one dieing from a natural cause instead of a self inflicted one......... i cant see how they can class it as a disease ,................if thats the case then people adicted to all drugs have a disease..........
