tegater 789
Went for a nice little walk with the mutt this afternoon, still a fair bit of snow on the tops, and a good few mountain hares in their winter clothes. Unfortunatly with an active terrier hunting all the ground in front of you I only got to see their tail ends. I have had to crop one of the pictures of the hare! tegater 789
Thanks guys, and yes Andy we are very lucky to have them, and its a good supply of them swell, or finally introduced to the park district when some keepers from Annan brought 50 of them down by train to Manchester and then onto the moors. A couple more days when the snow has finally gone and they will be easier to spot on the hillsides with binos from lower down. There are spots up here when if you are walking without a dog, you can get really close before they bottle it. Like the brown hare they do well up here.
