Main Crops Pigeons Hit

off pigeon shooting this aft on suger beat wich got cut month ago noticed pigeons hitting it dure in week so off to shoot on it this aft . new to pigeon shooting so just wonderd [BANNED TEXT] other crops pigeons like feed on

It depend's where you live and what crop's are down..where i am in the north east the favourite crop is rape at the momment..and when the spring barley goes in they switch to that and hammer it..

theres load on the clover in the fields at the minute, plus they are still on barley that was unharvested due to the weather around here. i did notice yesterday a few flocks on the oilseed rape fields thats just started to come through

Up here same,not alot of crop anyway,seeing decent numbers on random grass fields,some on lost crop,but the weather is displacing them dailly,they dont seem to be using regular roosts at the moment, which I find strange they are just not consistant,plenty around though,

Its definatly odd around here at the moment, but so is the wind direction good luck hope you do well, I am off on tuesday evening I hope, after stalking tuesday morning,my luck will be thousands of woobines tuesday morning making loads of racket with no shot gun just rifle,then loads of deer teusday night with no rifle this hunting game can be stressfull,forcing a man to drink and sleep badly,

the last few pigeons ive shot have had lost barly and clover in there crops, i think this year pigeons have been spoilt with the amount of lost crops about still there is full sheaths of barly on stubble feilds so its anybodys guess where they will be

Im from the east yorkshire area and work on a farm we have alot of land and find ther on the rape at the min .was roost shooting tonight and did ok considering ther was no wind .we have some realy big flocks round an about..
