Best Cross Beddy Or Wheaton

Recommended Posts

I've seen more shit bull crosses than I have good.

The good ones have been mustard, the bad ones weren't worth a toss.

Same in all breeds. Good and bad in all.

A half x wheaten wouldn't be as versatile as a half x beddy. The wheaten would be stronger and probably quicker at getting job done on teeth. But it isn't always about size. It's about heart and grit and determination which a good beddy certainly wouldn't lack.

Gaz.

why not ?

Well the wheaten is a bigger built and heavier dog than the beddy, so the cross is likely to follow suit and i dont think the beddy/grey half cross is particularly versatile enough, hence why i was looking down the 3/4 grey 1/4 beddy route

No I haven't. I'm sure they would be a good all round animal though?

Plenty of half x wheatens will run all game they make a handy size and build imo like I said earlier bred out of the right stock they shouldn't be much difference in work ability .

It's all down to what is your personal preference and I've also said I'd rather have a cross between the 2
