Best Cross Beddy Or Wheaton

northern lite, the man that bred my original wheatn X was a terrierman, and he felt you could not have a better X around an earth than wheaton,

SPINDOLERO my we beddy whippet bitch came from ireland the guy who breed her has his own pack of foxhounds and does 60 mile radius from his farm in ireland The bitches mother is 17tts and takes foxes for fun he breeds border lakie xs as well that all the guy does is fox and all he uses is beddy whippets his own line and used them for 30 years

 

so the 17 inch mother, that is a pure beddy?

dont think people bred for looks more working ability :thumbs:

i know a man is using one of them as a stud and has seen them go, they work alright, don't worry about that.

it is not about the nicest is it it is whats in there heart mate as i said if they do the job thats good and none is better than the other i found the wheatons were fuckers for fighting with the dogs but as they say if it does its job and all that crack on .atb

well anyone who can breed a 17 inch lurcher catching and killing single handed in numbers deserves some credit, the base stock must have been pretty good.

the guy doesnt come on here if he did i would tell him to tell you more its not up to me to bring whats its done and how many but it opened my eyes :thumbs:

I think a beddy whippet 17tts would meet its match on a december dog fox single handed. Or do you think it could go on and do another 3-4 in a night possobly 2 nights a week. single handed.

Hi Trotter, very true, we all like and want different things in life. I want a bedlington X now haha

 

In all seriousness I would say that heart would only go so far for a lurcher weighing 30-40lb, a good biggun and all that.

i won't disagree that many wheatens have a short fuse, like some bull types. i guess in days gone by laid back wheatons and bulls weren't ideal for their respective jobs.

Troter you have your opinion I have have mine simple as that I'm going off what I've seen I field as a rabbiting dog a beddyx are ideal but for teeth they not for me ;) atb cbx

what does a good fox weigh if a 40llb dog can not sort it out should not be used simple realy it as not got the heart and i am talking a 26tts not a beddy whippet :thumbs:

19tts the we dog is solid and got a head on it and very strong neck Picture173.jpg
