cantona 310
i noticed yesterday my lurcher had a broken nail on one of his back paws, it was bleeding and he limped a bit not much, went for a walk and he had a run on something that lasted a long time, this morning he dosent want to walk on it at all, would it be because of the nail or do you think it is something more serious,he might be a soft dog but ive had dogs with broken nails that didnt bother before, thanks for any feedback. cantona 310
Can u fix a broken toe or let it fix itself, rest or anything else?
paulus 26
Can u fix a broken toe or let it fix itself, rest or anything else? depends on the nature of the break mate, in young dogs a bone will heal in 4 to 6 weeks but depending on where and whats fractured it may well need imobilising to heal properly. it might even need surgery its very difficult to tell over the net by discription only, an xray is the only sure way to tell.
