Out earlier with lamp seen plenty hares about more than usual and in pairs close together one field had 4 together are they getting ready for March or they starting early didn't take much heed lamp on them Either a field I know there's always one had a second one with it and he runs if lamp on him but never budged

went out last night at 7 and got back at 9.had a couple of runs and ended up with 2 rabbits.my pups showing good signs and jumping well but it wasnt his night as my other dog got both rabbits,just need to get him more runs before the season ends :thumbs:

7 mate, the earliest I've ever gone out for a shine was 11 but most times its round 1.

i can go out as soon as its dark and catch an odd rabbit on the back field iv also been at them times only local and ive found it to be a waste of time as someone might have already been there because its common land

Each to their own but I've alway's thought the noble Hare deserves a close season.

hare as a close season over here in the north it starts 1st feb , our hare season is 12th august till 31st jan
