scottish lurcher 185
i have used both in the past but normally if you dog cuts it self salty water is just as good but most times dog will take better care of it better than you by endless licking at it so i find best to leave it to them Edited July 20, 2007 by scottish lurcher Quote Link to post
MATTI 34
Salt water seem's to be a favourite i also use wound powder which dry's the cut up and keep's shite from sticking to it. Quote Link to post
crinky 0
my dogs just cut her pad on some glass, bathed it twice a day in salt water, short walks on lead, antiseptic spray. started to swell so took it to vet to get checked out. shes now got a bright green bandage half way up her leg, one of those big plastic collars on and shes on antobiotics and anti-inflammatrys. oh and im 65 quid lighter. and ive got to go back on bloody monday. Guest SJM
If its a small flesh wound or cut on a part of the body they can lick I just trim the hair away from it and leave them to lick it clean and let nature take its course, but if its a part of the body they cant lick, for example on the back of the neck or on their head etc, I trim the fur away and spray with septi cleanse the purple spray frano has allready mentioned Quote Link to post
