Mister Gain 1,764
Hi Craig, you won't be dissappointed with it. I have watched David James dvd over and over, brilliant. I saw on his interview on CPTV with Malc Barnard that he's bringing out a sequel soon, Corvid Chaos 2. I will definitely be getting that. Quote Link to post

Mister Gain 1,764
Hi bunnyman, totally agree. I have found Si & Davy's youtube clips very helpful indeed. Good explanations of hints and tips for a newbie such as me, and entertaining as well. Big thanks indeed for their time and effort.. Am out tomorrow to have a go at some rabbits (hopefully) at an orchard, very shy rabbits I might add. Only regret is that I didn't take up hunting earlier in life. Craig, it was Corvid Chaos which took me from a backyard plinker to going hunting. I particularly like that if I am successful, there's a nice bit of bunny meat at the end of it. Made some Rabbit Jambalaya for tomorrows lunch.. Quote Link to post
Craig Fosse 286
How's ur s200 dealing with you ? Quote Link to post
Mister Gain 1,764
Hi Craig Don't have an s200, got a HW100SK .22 cal. Excellent gun albeit a bit heavy with the bipod attached, when walking the orchard. Use it in conjunction with a Hawke 400 range finder. As the orchard is also hunted by rim and centre fire guns, these rabbits tend to dissappear at about 100 yards, so have to try to be extra cautious to get within air rifle range. Same with lamping, they don't like white lights or red filters, they have seen it all before, so I am considering some kind of NV setup. To say this permission is a challenge is an understatement, but quite enjoyable nonetheless. Shot 5 in an afternoon on a trip last year, trying to christen my new game bag. 3 had mixi, so I left them for foxy, one was a kit, also left for foxy. the 5th one I shot off the bipod, clean as a whistle behind the eye, it dropped like a stone so I stood up and went to retrieve it. All of a sudden it gave a couple of kicks and dissappeared in brambles covering a steep drainage ditch. Although I searched, I couldn't find it... I bet foxy found it though. Reckon he had a good meal that night as we went back a few days later and there was no sign of any I had left. Have since christened the new game bag. Way it goes eh! Quote Link to post
