Albino Been More Steady Then A Polecat Coloured Ferret

Recommended Posts

Best worker I've ever seen was a polecat my mate got from a pet owner who had a big fat albino hob and a sandy jill, both had never even tasted rabbit but managed to produce a nice polecat jill and this jill left others standing just when you thought you had emptied a set by getting out 4 or 5 he would walk up and put his ferret down to produce another one or two.

it always seems that the albinos are the most steady. The polecat colloured ones always seem to be a little skittish at times. Have any of you found this

They're all the same. The varying abilities are down to the individual ferret, and absolutely nothing to do with its colour. I've had ferrets from the same litter two of which worked really well, ye

to be honest i was having the same conversation with another ferreter the other day ,we got on about what type of ferrets we both prefered ,colour ,sex ,age ,and why we prefered a certain type and siz

i have personally found this to be true over the last 5 years. i have owned 4 polecats and none of them have been my cup of tea. had a two year old jill that was tame in the hutch at then onece down a hole would try and take your finger off. similar situation with the two kits i kept out of her. i have had 8 albinos over the past 5 years and 5 have made the grade. i personally now only work albinos, however i do believe their are bad ones and good ones in every breed

every breed??? a ferret is a ferret, albinos and brown ferrets aren't different breeds??

working abilities and temperaments vary from ferret to ferret, but it's nothing to do with the colour.
