Any Idea What This Rifle Is??

That was my first thought also, But back in the day, manufacturers used to copy the best guns so im not sure.

you feel it may be a quality air gun .The quality gun being the gun relum copied .well that is easy to find out .SMECkY does the gun you have look like it has been made buy a chimp with an axe ?.To be fair when I messed with a telly years ago it has some nice designs .also I mess with a little russian air gun it had some nice designs but both guns were made very bad.

Put "Webley and Scott Junior Air rifle" into Google Images. There is one or two appearing that look exactly like this one. Perhaps it was a Hungarian-made copy of a Webley you have, or was made under licence for Webley by a Hungarian maker.

Ah that's a better pic. And this is no Webley. It looks very similar in the way the breech block is designed and the barrel and cylinder are proportioned . Would this have been a Webley copy? It looks like it. The stock of the Webley looked like this; but without the ribbed fore-end.
