woodcote1 88
Just a few weeks ago i was of the opinion that a nice simple old fashioned reticle was the best option. Now after switching back to .22 and having many long target sessions i have been converted to the multi aim point ret. At the moment im using an old cheap Hawke Sport HD 3-9X40 with a mil dot ret and have concluded that i need a half dot ret asap, i even bagged a pigeon yesterday using half a mil hold under. I am also now convinced as to the benefits of an ir as i used it for the first time while practicing in a dark barn. I always thought they were a gimmick. So i will be buying a Panorama 4-12x40 with the half mil dot as soon as i can. 2 Quote Link to post

woodcote1 88
Im going to get a laser rangefinder at the same time. Very exciting development in my shooting life as for the last 20 years or so I've only taken quarry at my zero range or less. Quote Link to post

sureshot.177 49
I have a sidewinder tac 30 it's made really well and is as strong as an ox had it on many rifles never needed to be shimmed but the turrets are big and touch the ground when you lie it down Quote Link to post
woodcote1 88
Would love one with the new SR PRO ret but it would seriously upset the balance of my 410 hence my choice of Panorama. Quote Link to post
ghillies 209
how good your eyes are makes a difference, i.e. as they start going you cant see the standard ret as well..funily enough. Quote Link to post
