Just wondering how people go about finding new permissions? How do people start the conversation with landowners?

Introduce yourself and ask if they have any problems with rabbits and that your looking for some permission and would be willing to come on and clear them, be polite even if they reject you.

I say hello just wondering if we could run the lurchers on ya land bit lamping and ferreting there reply is what you looking for i say what you got problems with they tell me and i say il clear it for you call you everytime i come on keep ya gates closed and respect his animals he says yea i say can i take ya mobile number so i dont have to bother you in the evening and i will always call by 7 to say im coming on and if i dont get a answer or you dont get bk to me i wont go on your land ... And serious now i must have 40 + farms and all there numbers i very rare i get knocked back as above thats what i say exzactly every time and once i had one i said i do a bit for mr jones and huw dow. The road that works a treat as well

And all my farms are over 200 acres some go up to 800 acres so as you can imagine i have large about of land with hare rabbits foxs black and whites the only thing none of my farms have deer but i dont mind that

Thanks. Your's and BS40liam's advice really helps. This ishas been my first season and only have 2 places I can go and I think the rabbits are getting lamp shy.

I have gods only amount of land and a lot of farmers once you get 1 just go to the next farmer say I have permission for mr x and was wondering if I could get permission for yours just so I don't cross any boundries (helps if you have insurance sacs £26 I think) once u get that farmers go on to the next 1 same story have permission for mr x and mr y......
