As to which is best, I know my .22 pro sport does as well as a certain .177 tx in the southern hunters series, but with more style cos its much better looking. fry 209 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Share Posted February 24, 2013 ha ha @ simon pianobastard! when i got back into shooting via my 410 .22 i just could not see the sense of a rifle that recoiled and made life harder ! but as pointed out by others in this thread you can just lean it on a bipod or any thing stable really and as long as you know distance you will have trouble missing. A year ago how ever i swapped my sons 400 for a prosport 177 this has been an eye opener it has made me a far better shot i hold the rifle more consistently and am more confident out too a longer distance than i was with the 410. the 410 has become a cabinet ornament not left the house for a year.
