Pretorious 3
I miss my Prosport, it had a gorgeous walnut stock and was so smooth. May by another some day, although I have my eye on the LGV! Great shooting Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
For gods sake don't go for a lgv, the pro sport is far better. I've heard some horror stories from a well known RFD about those rifles. Well played on the head shots, the pro sport really is a fantastic rifle! 1 Quote Link to post
milegajo 595
I second mawders and i've shot both. Prosport all the way! Quote Link to post

Pretorious 3
Cheers for the heads up guys, was real tempted on the Walther. That will save me a long trip to test one now Quote Link to post
milegajo 595
Though lets be fair, its an awesome if over priced break barrel. (the lgv) Still prefer an older tuned like wurz's though. Edited February 12, 2013 by milegajo 1 Quote Link to post

gurtwurz 792
For gods sake don't go for a lgv, the pro sport is far better. I've heard some horror stories from a well known RFD about those rifles. Well played on the head shots, the pro sport really is a fantastic rifle! I've been lent a walther to have a go on, and spent yesterday comparing it to my mates 177 pro sport and my tuned . It's not as good as either, neither as accurate or as nice to shoot. Bloody shame, cos I really wanted to like it but it's a disappointment. The competition version is butt ugly to boot.. Cheers, wurz Quote Link to post
j j m 6,533
my mate has a walther ive used it a few times it doesnt compare to the pro sport or the 97k,which in my oppinion are the best two springers Quote Link to post
Pretorious 3
Am so pleased I stumbled on to this thread. I would have tried the LGV first but my mindset would have been to buy, buy, buy! Need to read less magazine reviews and do my own. As mentioned, I do miss my prosport so why buy sonething different when that rifle ticks all the right boxes! 1 Quote Link to post
Pretorious 3
That's awesome timmytree, I work in Bridgwater on ocassions so not to far away at all. I have Sportsman just up the road too Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
Sportsman are good on prices but I think their hw's are grey imports but I could be wrong. Something I heard a while ago but never got to the bottom of. Quote Link to post
