Art 20
Love the Browning Tactical Hunter Catalyst I received for Christmas. 210 lumens. Effective beam 150 meters. Edited February 11, 2013 by Art Quote Link to post
moxy 617
This is a post that most should take heed. A quality torch with low lumen output but which has a good range. Most of the cheap Chinese crap however branded wont achieve that range. I have a few torches with claims of 1000 plus lumens that won't even do 50 metres and if they do further they become floodlights. How much was the browning Art and how tight is the beam? At BassPro the Browning was about $70.00 US. I'll step off a distance from my workshop wall this evening and measure the beam on the wall and post it tonight. It's about 1:00 pm here now and I'm at the office so can't do anything just now. Quote Link to post
Art 20
At a distance of about 50 feet the beam is 13 feet and 4 inches wide. Quote Link to post
Gooner 143
Brought one of these the other week Cree T6 Flash Light 1600 Lumens Waterproof Rechargable UK... (150955183223) Delivered from UK with batteries and charger seems good for the money. Purchased to scan fields for dogs may be too heavy for the gun??? Quote Link to post
