Anyone known a dog that was fantastic for one person and totally, and i mean, totally useless for others, i.e, it would run its heart out for one man, but if he wasn't there, it wouldnt even entertain a proper chase? 6 Quote Link to post

boyo 1,398 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Share Posted February 10, 2013 spent all summer year before last getting a bitch fit and well looked and ran like a picture. first time out daytime caught first in style hammered second and piped it hour later gave her easy slip and stopped dead in 20 yds gave her away to young lad for lamping on the way home. this was a very well bred bitch who had caught a lot of longears but since found out she had done it with bloke i bought her of .you live and learn . It isn't a " I'm so amazing" thing, it is a dog confidence thing - he is confident with me, no one else. He will do 3 strides down the beam, then turn back .
