day worker 296 Posted February 12, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 12, 2013 well i finally got round to taking it apart and found a partially blackened bulb .just got to find a new one now and retreive the old battery from the bin . the battery is brand new and the one i ditched wasn't that old either.i think i'm gonna get a new bulb first! what type of lamp is it ? it's a coleman nightsight 800,000 cp and it is awesome! lol i had 1 of them cracking lamp .. bit big but i didnt mind that yeah they are but worth it! Both bulbs in the side lights on my disco are black, been like it since i bought 5 year ago it but still work. May get around to changing them sometime in the future lol Did you get a standard H1, their 100w if i remember rightly, or one of the brighter ones? believe you can get them up to 50% brighter? Most places like halfords sell them but they are a bit more expensive. Still rated at 100w but higher number of lumins output. We fitted a couple to the delivery van I drive and on main-beam it looked like daylight. Quote Link to post
