heard some good ones and bad ones mate same as any breed can tell ya one thing for sure they have some pace to them i have one but he only gets worked on rabbits and puts a few in my game bag

I've seen a couple and they have been spot on ! But good and bad in all ! I'd have no problems buying one of that line to be honest

What would he be like on bigger game pre- ban do you think?

Would he be up for them or only interested in rabbits?

i recon he would be up for it i spoted a fox on the lamp the other week and was going nuts for it and was going to my permission and he spotted a hare runing up the lane same again but you would have to talk to some one who does more mate

met him couple years ago, nice bloke.he had couple of good stud dogs years ago, but dont think he works his stock now.! so its whether you want just the x, or from working stuff.

I have one out of dave platts raven, I doubt Dave platts strain are any better than any of the other breeders stuff out there.

Thing with deer X is the time to mature, if your patient enough though and unless the individual dog you got was a dud I cant see them having any problem on most stuff if the ban was ever repealed

Yeah that Raven been around abit lol,

The dam to mine was a grey, I take it you got yours direct from Dave then?. Raven is probably dead now I would imagine but for a 14 year old dog was still certainly earning his keep!
