JohnGalway 1,043
Looks like footrot, somewhat common (and altogether unwanted) to sheep depending on a few factors.

jigsaw 11,875
Another enjoyable read jigsaw. Do they cause much of a problem for the dogs? I left the saluki 1st cross on a big billy last year and he latched onto his neck and held on for dear life.I was about 40 yards away and ran to give him assistance.the billy just stretched his fron legs extended his neck up fully and stodd rigid, after a few minutes the dog lost his grip and I thought the billy would run for his life.like shit he did,he turned on the dog and battered him all over the place,in fairness the dog did try to take control of the situation but it was not to be,he high tailed it aftera few minutes of this, the feckin billy turned his attention on me then and i too leged it away with the big lad in pursuit, so there was two jackers that day,me and the dog he has taken a few since but ive stoped runing them with him, just doesnt sit well with me for some unknown reason.

jigsaw 11,875
my pleasure ,i get bored easy.its either sit with the wife or write a load of gobble dee gook on here................you can see how the dice falls theres feck all else there skycat.in all the years ive walked it ive seen 2 fox i think and a few deer.I havent seen a deer now in over 18 months.theres no rabbits,on the odd occasion you could see a hare but very scarce, the goats at times dissapear for long periods and as much as Ive travelled it,i have no idea where they go to.then again I dont pursue them unless they're causeing a fuss.By next may they should be vamoosed and wont return till oct/november or unless its very cold earlier.im happy though when they go as the poor buggers dont get shot to fuk then....is it weird to have sympathy for the species you shoot the hell out of Edited February 10, 2013 by jigsaw
