Bellman Collar

Recommended Posts

Brought my fully charged collar out into the field today left on my bitch while she worked some cover, put her back on the lead as we where coming to a known earth and when i went to turn it off so we could enter bulljacks young bitch into the earth and just leave the one collar on i noticed it was already off,I tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't.

when I got home I put it on the charger and an orange light came on it,I think the seal has gone on it and it has got wet inside, does the orange light mean there is a fault, and is it worth my while sending it back to be fixed or would it be just as handy get a new one

red light-charge.......orange light-24hrs.........green light-36hrs, if it was fully charged when you brought it out it should take 12hrs before you get an orange light, it could be a faulty battery, they're supposed to be let go flat and charged once a month, that probably doesn't happen when they sitting on a shelf in the shop.

Just reading back over your post you said it had an orange light when you put it in the charger, you should only have a red light when its charging and then you should have a double green flash every 4 seconds when its charged.

Just ring B&F mate and tell them what's happening. Mine was doin similar and it was over a year old. I phoned them, they told me to send it in and they sent me new one out. It's either ok, it's knackered, or u need a new one. Good luck. U might even get a new one.
