Good luck with her mate.

Just one thing I will say about the livestock. Keep at it. If she is broke keep letting her see sheep and cows as much as possible.

My bitch WAS broken to stock when I had her bu since I've had her we haven't seen any and she's been used to track deer for the gun so I think this could of confused her :whistling:

She went after a young bull last week and I had to give her a right bollocking. Will go through same field this week and see if its worked but I won't ever trust her with sheep. I hardly ever see them though so not really an issue for me.

It's a big problem for some lads.

All the best.

All that about dogs getting confused between sheep and deer ? Bullshit imo EVERY dog ive had knew the difference and would totally ignore sheep. On abit of land ive got there is an old railway bank with sheep fields either side. Weve had dogs course muntjac straight through the middle of them and they have returned not even looked at the sheep.

Best of luck with ya pup mate.

I said it may of confused her. Like I said she hasn't seen them for 5-6 months, my fault. We just haven't got much livestock where we go.

I don't think it's bullshit though like you say. I know loads of lads who's dogs have gone from being ok with sheep to un-trustworthy after tracking deer.

i agree with gaz on thsi one, i had a saluki greyxbull grey and see was 100 percent on stock. she had her first roe at about 20 month and after that she went completly tits up on sheep and i had to get rid. still the fastest lurcher iv had to date so it left a bitter taste with me!
