George Kinloch 16
Good stuff. Thanks for the advice. Was looking at the Edgar brothers scope. Will the nikko and the hawks be ok with recoil of a centrefire? Quote Link to post
delswal 3,819
nikko will be fine on a .222 used one for years on a .223 never had a problem Quote Link to post

Corky1991 8
Never had an issue with recoil on either Hawke or Nikko. I've used a hawke for the last year on my .223 and my farther used a cheap £40 nikko on his .308 whilst looking for a decent scope. Didnt lose zero at any point All the best Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
Buy a Nikon prostaff mate, absolutely pisses on anything for the price and way above, the clarity and zero retention is superb, you should get a good used one for 120 ish and I think Litts had them on offer recently for £110 you will not get a better scope for the money I promise. George Kinloch 16
Thanks for the advice. I just can't afford to stretch to a zeiss or anything like that. The prostaff looks like a good bet. But need to see how much cash I got. Will update on what I go for and how I'm getting on with it. Atb George Quote Link to post
