Whats Your Opinion On These Blades,need Something Robust And Big Enough For Thr Smellys

the one thing i cant understand is the fascination some folk have with the victorinox type knives.I just find them pointless(if you pardon the pun :laugh: )looking on the knife forums folk go mental over them.........very strange indeed,lol

if im honest mate midnights mk2 fieldcrafter is the best knife for the price ive ever seen or owned :yes: the mk1 was good but these are something else :thumbs:

just looking through the sites and the unfortunate thing is,the

shiping costs more than the flipin knives and if the customs and excise

spot it,I may then be paying import duty too,I bought from cabellas a

few years back and it cost me 3 times the price of the item origionally.

this is a nice knife even though the handels a bit dull.

you know what.........im puzzled as to what i like now theres so many.

might give midnight a pm and see how busy he is.the real story is........its my 50 th birthday next month and i can look for a decent pressie and inform the gang.I think the u s a route might be more bother than I realise,anyone in Ireland bring stuff in and have no customs issues?

 

I was just thinking the same thing about customs stealing it maybe buy a cheap one first to test the water :thumbs:

Id have a word with midnight or a fella called JES Both make knives from quality steel that holds a decent edge............if your struggling for sharpening have a look at ...linsky..on a well know auction site.....iv just got one and ill never look at another sharpening system...
