I have a folding .410 can anyone tell me if it is legal to cut the stock off and just have it as a pistol grip and what length can I have the barrell , I only have a shotgun certificate

A shotgun's a shotgun whatever the calibre. Overall length has to be 40". Barrel length 24" minimum

I can't see a .410 with a 28" barrel and a pistol grip catching on though, unless you want to constantly fire at the mud because your wrist will give way

I have mine cut diwn so its a pistol grip , i phonde the firearms officer and he said its fine , only pumps and semi autos have to be a min of 40" , as long as the barrel is 24" plus your fine

why would anyone want a pistol grip 410 witha 24" barrell if its for terrier work just apply for a section 1 pistol as 24" is very long to be fooking about with in a hole

I use mine for terrier work its spot on and alot shorter than when it had a full stock also good for shooting out of the truck as its easy to reload in the cab

It's only the barrel length 24 inches I cut my barrel and stock and had it put on my fire arms

I have only got a sgc so that's why I have to keep to the legal lengh .
