PIL 7
I dislike horses I would never harm one intentionally . I've been known to stroke them out in the paddocks at night ,just in case I get a sly kick when I've got my back turned lol . I once had a horse steak over in France no big deal , I'd sooner eat a horse burger than a vegi one any day of the week

ratattack 111
The only downside to it all that i can see is that it wasn't quorn or similar that had been contaminated Nothing wrong with a bit of horse. Many from this country go abroad for the food market every year. Horse passports have a box to tick if for human consumption or not.

DIDO.1 22,844
at the hunt kennels i worked at the incinerater was in the flesh house and if we were full up with meat it would be hung right up to the side of it, when it was on the sides were red hot and all these horse and beef legs would be getting hot, smelled bloody lovely and I was really tempted many a time! I dont think anyone is bothered about eating horse, even most of the media is concentrating on the mis-lableing and tracability. Lets just hope people start educating themselves on what they eat and buying british. The only problem I can see with eating horse on a larger scale is horses dont really do well in slaughter houses and do seem to stress much more than other animals in that situation. Talking of traceability, I saw on the news tonight that the most of the meat in question had come from romania then to france, then gone to the netherlands, then luxembourg and finally to the UK. Talk about well-travelled food! This kind of thing should be on labels too.
