OldhamLad 66
Longstory cut short walked around my country park earlier tandle hills if anyone knows it in oldham and thought bugger it 24 years walking this route and ive never been in that field, SO i did it hoped over the fence with my little lurcher puppy and went for a stroll! This field runs along the motorway so it was deserted no cattle etc had a brilliant time saw a few badger sets, foxes and a huge rabbit warren so thought i need permission around here its brilliant! so no longer had i been there 10 minutes and im walking back and POW man with a shotgun! My arse went from 5p to 50p in 3 seconds, had flash backs from the military yarda yarda. Luckily for me the fella was an old geezer whose been shooting on the particular bit of land for years had a good chit chat think he could see i wasnt up to no good and gave me his name and number to tag along with him and go to the local shooting club! Cracking fella but by god ill never take that leap over a fence again!! My question to you guys is 1.) you ever gone somewhere you werent meant to go 2.) if so have you ever been caught= outcomes 3) Whats the most awkward situation youve had! p.s i know it was cheeky of me to jump the fence but thought bugger it! Wont be doing it again! Quote Link to post

HIGHAM 47
fence hopping is good fun , make sure you travel light tho ... feel more at ease on permission tho i must say , once did someones garden with a mate of mine , got quite heated at one point but the things you see when ur places you shouldnt be are priceless , next time they will shut the bedroom curtains ( bungalo ) thats the only reason it got a little out of hand and as for the rabbits he wasnt botherd thinking about it i mite pay him a visit and see if i can ferret his garden again but legit this time atb matt 1 Quote Link to post

Papa g 14
My mates old man & his mate "Dave the dog" used to ferret the land around Luton airport many years ago, they didn't have permission to do so & this one time they were caught by airport security who were convinced they had a bomb in the carrying box after being reassured there were ferrets in the box the 1 Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
A certain someone i know once got arrested whilst ferreting near a prison as they thought he was burying weapons or something daft. Its sometimes funny escorting poachers off 'your' land. At the end of the day i usually blame the dog. 1 Quote Link to post
Rake aboot 4,935
Aye,, I remember years ago I was fishing a local water with no permit, My fly got hooked in a small tree behind me, so I climbed it to get the fly back. While I was up there (10ft or so) I heard a voice below.. "'scuse me mate'" said the bailif as I looked down, ""can I see the permits"",,,, what permits I said, we don`t have any. "" Oh ! right,, just that yer mate said you had the permits"" as I looked round and saw the tail end off Whin,, legging it round the bend ! b*****d ! left up a tree ! lol 3 Quote Link to post
