Daz 7 563
Nice Shooting Si Can't see You liking the Brocock more than the Ultra though atvb Daz 7 Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
Terrific watch this one Si. I'm actually liking this PCP for its simple, get-on-with-the-job looks and performance. It's high time Brocock were given a decent review for one of their rifles. They make some really nice looking springers yet you don't hear a thing good or bad for them. Your test here has inspired me to go investigate Brocock's wares a little more closely. Top shooting as always mate! Simon Quote Link to post
ecp2012 14
Great review. Wonder whether Brocock will incorporate your suggestion about a safety? Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Thanks Simon mate. Please keep us informed about your findings mate. Hi Daz, Ill let you know in a weeks time buddy. You know i love the Ultra mate and that i rate it very highly so if the new SE is an improvement on the older model but it keeps its accuracy then its going to be one outstanding rifle. Hi Ecp2012, I don't think Brocock will see this mate, but if they did its probably something they have heard many times already. Si. 1 Quote Link to post

A1WOC 212
Great review. Wonder whether Brocock will incorporate your suggestion about a safety? On the subject of no safety catch on the Brocock; guess who found out the hard way? Yes it was number one Muppet....ME! I managed to shoot myself in the foot while out ratting at night in a cow shed. It was pitch black, I had the bolt open and the magazine located in readiness, I accidentally bumped into a stall in the dark, and off it went. The pellet penetrated through two thicknesses of boot leather and embedded itself in my foot. OUCH! Regards, Steve Quote Link to post
hunter100t 56
Nice review si, Great little rifle, accurate, consistent, shoulders well, could this be a contestent for the ultra, I think it could if the shot count could be raised, and who knows, after its been regged maybe a competition, hft and the like. Well done for bringing this little "supergun" to our attention ! atb Phil Quote Link to post

Regards, Steve Blimey Steve, you want to get this pic up before Brocock's board and show them what the risks they are running without a safety catch. A serious black against a good rifle and good sense in my book. You are lucky it was your foot and not your mate's eyeball! Hope you are alright mate, Simon Quote Link to post
A1WOC 212
Best left alone for the time being, I don’t want to hi-jack Si’s thread. But if anyone wants to discuss it further, PM me and I will start a new thread. Regards, Steve Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
As regards safety, remember the venerable and much respected S200 also has no safety catch. Come to that my Theoben Sirocco Deluxe does not either, the XS78 does! Quote Link to post
