The Brocock Contour Super 6 Accuracy Review With Si Pittaway & Friends.

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

In this extended episode of VHTV I
along with 2 friends from the Hunting Life Forum (Phil AKA Hunter100T & Steve
AKA A1WOC) do a review of the Brocock Contour Super 6 .177 calibre sub 12 foot
pound air rifle.

Thanks to Phil and Steve for
assisting me in this episode and to Steve for lending me his rifle for the
review.

Please enjoy.

Si & Davy.

They look an interesting little rifle. Some nice shooting as always as well!

What a good review on the contour. its a shame it only holds 6 pellets, all though you probably only need that for hunting Some nice shooting again , not bad with the gun ether

Nice review Si   I wonder if it would be possible to reg like the ultra?   ATB

Thanks lads.

I'm not sure about regs Elliot. Someone could do it I suppose mate, but I'm not sure who as it stands. Dave Wellam would be a good bet.

Its a beauty of a rifle though and really accurate as seen with the right pellet.

I'm taking it rabbit shooting on Sunday with the Nite Site NS200 as I have had a invite from Phil to go to a new virgin rabbit warren to try and knock a few of them off for the farmer. Steve as been kind enough to lend me the rifle for a week or so longer.

Nice review Si, just goes to show you don’t need to spend mega bucks to achieve consistent accuracy. I must admit though it’s mostly down to the person shooting the rifle.
Regards, Steve

Your too kind Steve.

Thanks mate.

Si.

In my mind that would bring it level with the BSA Ultra and provide you with far more useable shots per charge

Looks forward to seeing the rabbit footage  My brother has a .22 S200 that he rarely uses. Shame you aren't closer, I'm sure you'd be welcome to put it through its paces

Thanks again Elliott  .

I pick up my new multishot Ultra SE in just over a weeks time so will try and replicate this review with that rifle too.

I'm a massive Ultra fan myself and love the rifle to bits but i have to say it will have some big boots to fill now after using this little baby before it.

If I can get the same results or better with the Ultra with the improved shot count I will be one happy hunter  .

hi Si

great review on the contour,it groups very well indeed!

this would make a great ratting rifle, but not a competition rifle.unless it was regulated, purely because of shot count.

nice to see Phil & Steve getting involved, thumbs up from me

PS if we ask chaz he might let us review his light hunter, seems your doing compact air rifles

regards
