There was a brilliant shoplifter worked out of the Imperial round the back of St Enoch's, he would take orders from the punters in the bar and go and nick it! Size, colour everything.....

Same with schools nowadays, close if its too windy..... f***ing windy when we walked to school, you'd unzip your jacket, hold it over your head as a sail, walk at 30 degree angle to school

f**k aye mate,i remember going to school in some horrendous weather. bus couldnt get up the brae for snow,so the driver told us to get off.we wouldnt and gave him a lot of cheek,he duly shut the doors, burled the bus around and took us to the cop shop lol cop came on the bus and told us to get to f**k off.had to walk an extra mile and half.silly wee c**ts that we were.

nowadays the cop and driver would be hauled over the coals for allowng kids to walk home in the dark

I remember the Stonehouse boys never made it to school one day, they did a "Star Trek" on the bus going round Canderside Toll on the way in, nearly toppled the bus and 3 windaes got broken, the driver took them all to the nick and noone would grass, so they locked the lot up in the cells, wee lassies and everybody.....imagine the outcry now if they did that???
