bird 9,871
i think it is the same in alot of places mate, there only few spots like the dales, and maybe couple more places that hold good number of rabbits .Its been like this i think the last 10 years, where its mixy,or what ever? the numbers are down to what they once were plus lurchers are lot more popular (now) than they ever were,so more lads in the same boat, all looking for runs for there dogs, keep trying you never know whats round the corner 1 Quote Link to post

snatchbullet 55
Somerset rabbits have been not great but still about in good enough numbers roe fox and hare up on all the high ground cause of flooding. The numbers have been more than I have seen in a while apart from rabbits. Think it's cause they are all grouped up on the high ground but been a steady but wet as f**k season. Dogs is doing grand this season and got a good number under his belt.. I know dogs don't run well with food in there bellies but not even any point taking this dog out if he has had food. Half the speed and just not that keen... Empty he is spot on and run all night. Snatch Quote Link to post

morton 5,368
you have to travel these days to get the game in front of your dog If it does,nt come easily or on a plate to some, then its time to give in and find a less demanding pastime. 1 Quote Link to post
