paddy31 120
What also must be worth remembering is the flip side of the coin....some lads hunt to see their dogs work and nothing else. Killing quarry is of little interest to them and they get great pleasure from seeing their quarry run to maybe bump into again another day. Each to their own.... 100% agree with that J Darcy. 1 Quote Link to post

snatchbullet 55
All you boys going on about respecting what you hunt!! if you respect it dont chuck a f***ing terrier down its hole for no reason. leave it in peace let your numbers build up then hunt it properly then. sorry if i am coming across the wrong way but 1. foxes dont need to be preserved in the uk in any area at the moment and secondly its just not very respectful but each to there own just my opinion 4 Quote Link to post
mickey30 6
you read so much shite on here from a lot of clowns, with so little respect for the quary they choose to hunt, and would be happy to kill what ever comes across they path, I was brought up to respect the land and quary I hunted, If my lurcher coursed a hare pre ban, I was happy for a good course that give the dog a good run for his money, and also happy the hare got away to run another day, Also with Terrier work, let many of fox bolt, unless they are causing problems for the land owner, I like to walk the land with no dogs some days, and take my time to look around, Last year I sat and watched some fox cubs playing out side an earth, most clowns on here would have gone home for there dogs and mates and killed them all no doubt, theres more to the hunting game than killing. show a little respect for nature so we can injoy it, And pass it on for jenerations to come WHINGE OVER well said man very true Quote Link to post

Huan72 687
To me respecting the animal you are hunting is the most important thing, I am human and can tell the difference between right and wrong. Well most the time ! Some people probably show no respect because they enjoy suffering and these people have no place in hunting and do it because the animal is not going to turn round and rip their head off! Hunt with ethics and next time your gonna be cruel to your quarry, think of this: Quote Link to post

Yer lets compare a fox to a fish HOW SILLY OF ME, A FOX IS A LIVEING THING, AND A FISH IS RUBBER Didn't say fish where not living but comparing fishing to terrier work is the kind of thing I would expect to hear coming out an antis mouth!! Just saying respecting your quarry is not in my eyes chucking a terrier down its hole for your own entertainment!! I enjoy digging but also understand why it needs to be done not just protecting sheep chickens and pheasants. foxes play a very big part in the decline of many on our native species! The foxes population in the uk is at its highest ever and with the rabbit population going down more of our more endangered species are getting hit. you think that you and your terries are that good you could clear all the foxes in the uk. It's time to wake the f**k up old man. So as I said at the beginning digging foxes and releasing is not respectful or clever it is un sporting and just daft old boys thinking they know better. I have worked with conservationist and game keepers how know more about the land that you ever will and they would tell you to sell you dogs and start bird watching. It really does make me laugh how you can say respecting your quarry. Any way again up to you but I know I am right. 1 Quote Link to post
