whippet 99 2,613
I agree with leaving some run for another day but if you were seen to let old Charlie go deliberately wouldn't that be seen as braking the law cause terrier work is no longer a sport but a means of control correct me if im wrong cause its something ive been thinking for a while but aint 100% sure you cant help a bolt when you go back to get your gun.......... and im sure many apart from keepers and farmers wont complain when they bolt............ frazdog 252
I get the impression that you think all bull cross owners are non educated delinquents, and if you wanna be a good respectful hunter, you need a collie cross? I totally agree with respecting quarry, but why bring breeds into it, as its surely the dogs owners at fault, not the dog? In the last thread you liked an all rounder, and this one you hate folk that can kill any game they come accross? Seems you have a bee in your bonet about something...? Where is all this evidence youve been reading on here about folk not disrespecting their quarry, as surely the mods should have done something about this? C'mon OldRed, name and shame all these bad people please your dead [BANNED TEXT] why bring breeds in2 it its the owner fault.an let metell you 90% of bull lurchers are useless just lik collie or saluki pussys cant take bite ive seen plenty but ill tell you another thing [BANNED TEXT] u get goodns there priceless lamping an digging.go to lost stolen dogs thread started by aidsy i bred the bull cross an he wus fukn priceless lik his bros an sis.just cuz theres a few ejits running around with bull x dont tar the dogs there the best cross of lurcher in my opinion 1 Quote Link to post

snatchbullet 55
A fox is vermin there are to many in this country and you couldn't ever get the last one even if you wanted to. It's not just chickens and lambs you are protecting its all the other wildlife they eat as well. If managed well you should be able to have a few around if you want or to be honest even if you don't want they will still be there. For digging and then releasing foxes is just bloody draft and un called for if your a true country man surely just going for a walk is good enough...and a cub is still a fox wether its a week or 10 years old...so for people who dig and release I am sorry but I personally don't agree but ever man to himself 2 Quote Link to post

We get the permission here in north wales to rid the farmer of the foxes legally. letting him go after having him to hand would be suicidal. imagine that same fox was causing havoc during lambing. im sure the farmer would be over the moon 1 Quote Link to post
J Darcy 5,871
What also must be worth remembering is the flip side of the coin....some lads hunt to see their dogs work and nothing else. Killing quarry is of little interest to them and they get great pleasure from seeing their quarry run to maybe bump into again another day. Each to their own.... 10 Quote Link to post
