Better pay it before they send a couple of Disabled guys round mate

Scothunter is absolutely right. NEVER tell them your name, just address yourself as the legal occupier, tell them politely that you do not need a tv licence thank you very much and close the door.NEVER

they need proof before they can take me to court.they wont get in my house and i as far as the conversation with them goes,it will be along the lines."i told the last nugget that came to the door,i do

You said Waaay to much Lee

You should have removed the implied right of acces for TV licensing. Told them to leave and that if any of their salesfolk came back, you would report them to the police.

But naw ! you admitted it and set yourself up bud. Nae luck, cough up. doofus

When I have had the Crapita goons disturbing my peace in the past.....

Refuse to tell them your name or any information or confirm anything.

Ask them what PROOF they have that backs up their wild claims that you are breaking the law.

No not being on your Crapita database is not proof of me breaking the law.

Tell them to leave your property and withdraw their implied right of access.

Without proper proof (seeing TV switched on to live broadcast TV through window) or you opening your stupid mouth and shooting yourself in the foot, like the OP did there is feck all chance of them getting a warrant and returning with the boys in blue.

I must be getting on for something like 10 years without paying the TV tax. I can't condone breaking the law.:laugh::whistling: If you wise up a bit TVL / Crapita can be filed next to private parking speculative invoices. I have had all sorts of coonts threaten me with 'court' over the last 10 years, for not paying their bribes / speculative invoices.

Number of times I have been taken to 'court' in the last decade, NONE! :hmm:
