LaraCroft 863
Me and my brother have done it - raising money for Help for Heroes - I agreed only if it was the summer one - and OMG it was tough. I'm not a wimp, but I couldn't move for a week afterwards. I couldn't even reach the maltesers on the bedside table I ached so much. Never again.

There were parts of the course that made you long to be knee deep in freezing cold muddy water - just for a breather !

Gaz_1989 9,539
I did winter tough guy, tough guy nettle warrior, spartan and tough mudder last year. This year I plan to do a similar 4/5 events along with a channel row and the 3 peaks with a bit of a difference... Cycle between them and fell run up and down them :-) Tough mudder was by far the worst of all the events last year but nothing like as tough as i expected after all the over exaggerated advertising lark All the best and train hard, Gaz.

Ideation 8,216
Just agreed to a training jog. 112 km in a oner. This training lark is probably going to kill me faster than the TM.

rob190364 2,594
If you think the tough mudder is mental . . . . . . check out the worlds toughest mudder. Folk compete to see how many times they can do the course in 24 hours. The same guy has won the last two years, and done about 9 laps of the 10-12 mile course. Obviously its not the distance, its the getting frozen, burnt, submerged, climbing mental stuff, carrying mental stuff, jumping . . . . . oh yer and getting electrocuted by 10,000 volts. Paddy - which one you doing mate? the thing I don't get about that, if this bloke is fit enough to do 100 miles of that course in 24 hours why isn't he competing at something in the olympics and making some serious dosh?
