gibby 0
Im very very tempted to buy one of these... However does it not seem a bit strange the fact that they arent even in stock yet but we can buy them? Its probably the case that the seller is using the all the buyers money to purchase the order from the manufacturer. jultaylor: did you buy this item from the same seller? Were they in stock when you ordered it or was it a similar "pre-order" setup? Any problems at all? Sorry for all the questions I just hate parting with my hard earned unless Im sure! But if I get good feedback from someone on here Ill be treating the ferts (well the jills anyway) to a new home! Quote Link to post

Initially I bought from a seller who said he was out of stock for at least two weeks So I asked for a full refund and got it. I then went ahead and ordered the same hutch from a different seller from me and got it within 4 days but I did pay £200 for mine. Good luck. Quote Link to post

skycat 6,173
To be honest if you went and bought the materials at your local B&Q or similar you'd be hard pressed to make the thing for under £100. Can't wait to hear what you have to say about it. Quote Link to post
mole trapper 1,692
Artemis, FPO here! not MT (hes loged in and Ill loose his posts if I log him out! get in trouble!) Great new shed! We bought one of the wendy houses from focus and put a pipe in the side and out to a large run. had the same discussion as you at the time about what to put on the base, we used good quality chicken mesh in the end, in no time at all the grass grew through it and so far so good, 3 years on and it hasnt rusted out and nothing has got out! they will try and dig, but no sucess!! big black plastic trays as suggested on someone elses post are also a great idea in the summer, They have their very own swimming pool!!! fill it up and they love it! Im sure your other half wont mind that much when he sees how good it is and how many pints of beer he will receive for helping to put it together Quote Link to post

gibby 0
Did you get yours yet Gibby? I got an email last sat - saying they were coming into port on Wed, would be despatched Thur and Fri (we should've had a shipping notice email as ours were despatched) and then delivered within 72 hours. I never got shipping notice yet though - did you? (Okay so it's only a day later and they're probably really busy still packing the things to go on the courier on MON or TUE in reality)! Just wondered if you heard any news yet - can't tell you how desperate I am to get them out of their hutches and into the new spacious house! My mate says her hubby is off work for 2 weeks soon - and has a jigsaw and likes making stuff. She reckons if I draw up some "toy" designs for our ferrets - her hubby will make them for me in wood! (so am going to copy some of the box and pipe toys we made out of card into wood for the new cage!). Artemis I have received no word since that email saying they would be arriving last week. Im glad Im not the only one who is concerned! I could really do with it coming this week as Ive took the week off work to give me time to get it set up as work has been a real drain on time recently! Keep me posted by PM if you can whenever you receive an email/package! Cheers, Gibby Quote Link to post
