Snelly 0
I noticed some footy banter in my previous post so I thought I would start a new topic on a debate that will rage in pubs until the end of time. Who would be in your all time best England 11? Or Scotland, Wales or Ireland of course.... Or a GB side would be interesting too... My England team would be as follows....... sort of 4-3-3 1 Banks 2 Cohen 3 Moore 4 Butcher 5 Pearce 6 Charlton 7 Finney 8 Gascoigne 9 Rooney 10 Lineker 11 Matthews My GB team would be 4-4-2; 1 Banks 2 McGrain 3 Moore 4 Hansen 5 Pearce 6 Charlton 7 Best 8 Gascoigne 9 Dalglish 10 Law 11 Giggs Of course, it's just a bit of fun eh?? Stabs 3
I wouldn't have Giggs but I'd have Rush in any team like that. I'd like Beardsley in there too, but then I would

Guest HAWKEYE
ONE RED TIM, i AM SITTING HERE WITHA FRAMED 3' X 4' SHOT OF JIMMY SKINNING 2 DEFENDERS BEHIND ME. I WILL LEND U HIS VIDEO FOR ANYONE WHO DOBUTS HIS ABILITIES. THE BIT IN THE EASTERN BLOCK IS AMAZING, CELTIC ARE AWAY TO I CANT REMEMBER WHO AND THERE MUST BE 125 - 130 OOO THERE AND EVERYTIME JJ TOUCHES THE BALL THEY ROAR IN ANTICIPATION!!!!! RAISES THE NECK HAIRS. He only ever got a handful of caps for scotland. Shocking. I am named after Danny Mcgrain!!, Met him about 2 years ago and he was a complete gentleman. I can only speak for players in my lifetime but I think that in midfield The best bRITISH PLAYERS have been Roy Keane and David Platt. Keane was booked in the semi final vs. Juventus in 98-99 champs league meaning he would miss the final. Utd are 2 - 0 down. It should be the law for all footy players to watch his performance for the next mins. As a midfielder I could watch that again and again. Breathtaking. David Platt was born out of his time, He would easily be worth £30 - 40 million today. He carried England for at least 3 years , he had everything, touch, vision tackle skill, stamina , pace and could finish. In all, him and Frank Lampard are the most complete attack Minded midfielders ever IMHO. ohh and John Robertson at forest a quick quote. MON said to Cloughie at a team talk "What am I to do today Boss?" Cloughie says"Martin, You give the ball to Robbo, Your the Hood carrier!" But how can you mention England Legends without Shearer??? A player who when the chips are down or when his team are being overran, has always stood up to be counted
