B.L.B 0
Hi guy's im in need of some advice about these locator collars. Im in Australia and own a young Patterdale Dog, he's the first patt i've owned and everyone i've spoken to tell's me i'll need a locator collar with a patt because he won't really bark much. I've only been involved with JRT's and Fox Terriers's as they are all that gets used around here and nobody uses locator collars on them because they bark their little behinds off and with most of the earth's being quite shallow here most of the time its no problem digging in the right spot. A few guy's have told me to try and get a hold of a Deben Mark 1 because they are cheap and easy to use. Do they still make these? Would it be possible to get a second hand one if they don't? Any helpfull advice would greatly appreciated. Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
Mark 1 boxes are often on e-bay. Bellman and Flint are meant to be the dogs danglly bits although I've not seen one. Quote Link to post
brother fox 1
Yan Yean produce store in whittlesea Melbourne sells the Deben MK3. Their number is 03 97162353. The bellman&flint is the best bit of kit but costs over a grand by the time it gets to your door in australia. Quote Link to post

brother fox 1
Yes that is over a thousand dollars to get a bellman&flint to your door in australia with 140 dollars import duty on that. The deben unit retails for about a third of that. Quote Link to post
