Hudson 5 Posted February 5, 2013 Report Share Posted February 5, 2013 If i have the serial number for a BSA Superstar would i be able to tell if it was made in Birmingham or Spain ? Were all Supestars made in B'ham ? I know it will be under licence to Gamo as i understand they took over BSA in 1986 and the Superstar did not come about until the Mid 90's but i also know that the build quality dropped when their rifles were made in Spain. barrywhite 282 Posted February 6, 2013 Report Share Posted February 6, 2013 The gun is a few years old .does it shoot ok do the parts on the gun fit well if yes ,does it matter were it is made .If the gun work now after time then it has had some quality control .The gun good have been made s..t in the UK and made well in Spain .
