Ifs its not been jabbed and you've took it out in public then it could be how it's picked something up? no mate its 18 months old bought him saturday If its 18 months the dog must have looked like shit when you got it surely? .WARREN. 288 Posted February 5, 2013 Report Share Posted February 5, 2013 Why did you take him to the vets? because he havent ate since saturday and he hasnt had a drink in about 30 hours get some dyrolite mix it with water give it from barrel of needle for fluids, when ever he eats mate he throws it back up if it is parvo mate,its not just water it needs it needs that dyrolite mixed in with water to help replace its fluids its lost,if it frows it back up give it another few mill from syringe,all the best bud Link to post

How much did you pay for it? if it is parvo incibation period is 10-14 days so signs may not of been there at the time he bought it. i bought a pup few month back big healthy strong litter then 2 days after i got it home it went downhill dropped weight wouldnt eat wouldnt drink vommiting and dihorrea all the litter went down the same route and died. paulus 26 Posted February 5, 2013 Report Share Posted February 5, 2013 parvo can affect dogs that are jabbed just as much as dogs that are not, how did the vet know it wasnt jabbed, this can only be confirmed via a blood test. if the dog had parvo it would be shitting through the eye of a needle with blood in the shite, parvo in adult dogs is rarely fatal these days, far more questions than answers Link to post
