Just harvested the kids Maris Pipers grown in compost bags.

Money cant buy the taste of fresh pots straight from the ground a nob of butter, a sprinkle of salt and pepper.

 

Thats a good little harvest that

I think my spuds are going well? Got some corn, some peas and beans going too, all new to this so no idea if they're growing well or not lol

Looks like I might get two cobs off some of my sweet corns which is good.

I only planted 30 started them off in toilet roll holders then planted out. In hind site should have let them get bit bigger to help keep out way of the slugs lost a good half dozen. But other than that they seem a good crop to grow. Will be planting a larger quantity next year. I think they were golden bantam

just keep the chickens for eggs John or do you do any for the table ?

As for the plums is there any thing you don't have :laugh:

Them toms look nice too a customer gave me some from there green house this week bloody lovely called shirley

Just eggs Terry ive tried to grow most things over the years some work out and ive had many failures. :thumbs:

Them toms look nice too a customer gave me some from there green house this week bloody lovely called shirley

It was too dark to take a pic inside his greenhouse the pic does not do them justice he has grown the best toms on the plot for as long as i can remember. ive grown shirley toms myself and had good success. :thumbs:
