You might have to dig them up and store in compost or sand and protect from the frost. But down here in Devon I have just mulched them with straw and they come up next year. Not to late if you can find some Onion sets. But I grow the big one from seed that I put in late December or very early January. Cheers Arry

Franks dad 1,213 Posted Sunday at 16:36 Report Share Posted Sunday at 16:36 First runners are in .I’ll bank the soil up and slip the pot “collars” off when they’ve grown a bit taller .. Went to trim the hedge ( hate doing it) and went a bit ott , it was over 6ft high …. but I won’t have to cut it for a while , just going to take a while to dry and burn the off cuts .. gooseberries are looking really good this year so far …

Here's A runner sending up 3 shoots FD. Cheers Arry 1
Arry 23,374 Posted Sunday at 17:12 Report Share Posted Sunday at 17:12 You know its a struggle to get Tomato's to germinate some times. here's a dried Sungold Tomato that was on the ground and all the seeds inside have started to grow. Cheers Arry
