I’m watering practically once a week we have standpipes down allotments but there’s a big leak so it has been turned off , just been down today an gave it a quick watering but the tracks starting to get flooded as it started to leak again so now doubt be off again tomorrow ,that will freak the people that leave a sprinkler running for an hour Quote Link to post Share on other sites

terryd 8,373 Posted July 7, 2018 Report Share Posted July 7, 2018 Up early and took the dog for walk around the local farm to see how we looking rabbit wise for the start when the time comes. Saw a few about so some thing to look forward too and also saw a hare which are all ways thin on the ground. Collected some manure then and the poor old dog wishes I had a van A friend of the daughters gifted me a fennel bush/tree so got that planted out and few beets and other bits things are struggling a bit in the heat and no rain Picked a load of peas broad beans and goosegogs and the production line going at home had few complaints but told the wife to get on with it. green lurchers 16,567 Posted July 16, 2018 Report Share Posted July 16, 2018 (edited) Been having a few toms last couple of wks, rekon they a few wks further on than last year , have moved most of the plants to more shade than normal as the intense sun has we feel made the skins a bit tough compared to previous years , chilli plants have started to show fruit again we moved most to more shade under gazebo seems to hav worked out as they look greener and healthier compared to years gone by Edited July 16, 2018 by green lurchers 4 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
