jok 3,254
Well guys. As predicted a week ago. 3 tops dug and plenty new potatoes for 6 dinners. Fantastic. Down side as well though. The onion plants that Tony gave me have all curled so can only assume that dreaded FCKG brown grub. Luckily I've 3 different lots, set at different dates, and also some sets put in 2 weeks ago and some plants to put in next week. It must be said that everything else, at the moment, is looking good. Hope you are doing well. Jok.a

terryd 8,414
Thats a lovely setup devon and a beautiful home you have I have just made an idiot of self. I had some celeriac seeds I threw in a pot and they all came up. So potted on and treated lovingly and planted out. A few of them looked a bit different and looked like they may have bolted so I posted on one of the garden forums and he general consensus seems to be I have been growing weeds shoot me now Bit puzzled though sowed a big handful in a pot of proper compost so weed free and they all seemed to come up. Potted on and away to go. I may have got the odd weed in there but dear oh dear
