Few pics of some bits.  

Picked what I could salvage of the green toms for some chutney better than wasting them tonight.     Not impressed with me cabbage     few bits for dinner. Bean are delicious at the mo

I think my spuds are going well? Got some corn, some peas and beans going too, all new to this so no idea if they're growing well or not lol

Time to get the traps out do you have many chickens ?

I just got back from allotment sitting here with bag of frozen rhubarb on my head :laugh: was clearing some grass clumps from the mint next thing bang in the neck bang in the back of me noggin bloody bees nest. I would have put bolt to shame going down that garden path :laugh:

been today, the jap onions are going in next week also the few garlic i got started not sure if the colly's in the bath will do anything but they are going in the ground anyway also put a bit of a base down for a greenhouse i got gifted for the half plot,

not many toms left in the greenhouse but we did ok, the allotment is getting a bit bare now but ner mind keep at it boys :thumbs:

You certainly have the weeds licked jj nice clean beds and I have just twigged how you have been using that bath its only taken me all summer :)

I have a bath on the plot just for holding water but I have drums for that so I might use it for seedlings as I have some glass for the top

the baths were already there when we took over the extra 1/2 plot so we just use them like a cold frame :thumbs: there is 2 of us but hard work is done really its just a matter of keeping on top it and now the weather is turning it will be easier :thumbs:

I can see that getting plenty of use jj :)

 

To wet today for digging so just tidied a few things up my broadbeans are away

got them netted just in case pigeons take a fancy

raised the netting on the broccoli again they are pretty big glad to have them though most the plots dont have much greenery now but these arent lacking there.

Senshyu Jack ? mine broke through last weekend. This over wintering is a bit of a test this year just to see what survives and if it gives a head start next year.

not sure to be honest mate one set is called snowball i think and you could be right with senshyu as i put 2 sorts in trays i will check the packets when i'm down
