darbo 4,774
plucked the garlic out today as they looked ill to the naked eye ie ME but i got told they are ok, so they got washed and hung in the shed, also potted 1/2 doz more peppers http://s575.photobucket.com/user/jackoleeds/media/jacks2788_zps2e589916.jpg.html?sort=3&o=8 Nothing wrong with them jj nice one. still trying darb Are you growing summer cauliflowers jj. it was a crop i struggled with for years to get decent heads on prematurely forming smalll heads etc bolted easily in hot weather always grew a good winter cauliflower. got some seeds from dobbies and watered more than usual and fed had good success for a few years now. it will be intresting for me to see other peoples summer cauliflowers especially the new lads. if they have success it will be good to gleam a few tips of people and to hear what seeds they used. to be honest mate i put some collie and cabbage in the last netted bed and the cabbage look a bit poorly even though they got hardened off i'll put a pic up tomorrow as i'm nipping down there but collie seem to be doing ok for some reason, as for the cabbage i'm not sure what it is but the collie is snowball i think i know im growing a lot of mares tail thats for sure edited as the greyhound is the cabbage i allready have in nipped down and a ole chap said not to worry as the centre is ok so i will leave them for now http://s575.photobucket.com/user/jackoleeds/media/jacks2807_zpsfc7e798f.jpg.html?sort=3&o=2 did they get burned in the greenhouse/coldframe. no worries once they get established in the ground they wil be fine. just right on the sunday dinner. no, they looked ok to be honest, in my knowledge anyway just some of the leaves look scorched on the ends no worry though. unless my wonky eyes are seeing something else. they do look a bit torched to be honest and there is nothing wrong with your eyes

esoxluscious 44
bit of advice needed lads, my tomato plants are turning into bushes, not growing tall and straight! plus my chillie plants are being hammered by, i think whitefly although one of them is flowering. I can get pics up tomorrow if necessary. My little greenhouse is organic only so what should i feed/treat them with that isnt going to cost a fortune? Many Thanks Phil
